The wages of sin.....

is DEATH.

I just saw on Fox news online that Anna Nicole Smith has died. What a character! Stripper, porn "actress", TV personality. It is in sinful human nature to be fascinated by these people.
There are those that think being a Christian is boring and dull, but I'll tell you this, its a whole lot safer! The wages of sin is still death. I'll bet that woman never knew a moment's peace, nor true love of any kind. I suppose righteous indignation towards her would be reasonable, but at this moment pity and sorrow is all I feel. Sorrow for the degrading life she led and sorrow for an eternity in Hell.

I would say to those young people who are being raised in a conservative Christian home, to be thankful for parents who love them enough to raise them right. Parents who love them enough to say no to people and places and activities that have no good end. Trust God to guide your parents. Submit happily! Obey! You'll never regret it.

Worldly "fun" often ends in death. If not physical death, than the death of your good name, your reputation. Your dream of a godly husband and family could also die from too much "fun"

I saw this news this morning while I was walking on the treadmill and I told me husband this, "Isn't it said that she spent her whole adult life trying to please perverts?" To which he replied, "And what's even sadder is that perverts are never pleased." Sad life. Isn't it wonderful to know God and live to please Him?

I was shocked to see this on the Atlanta newspaper website yesterday. She was so young to die. And all reports say that she died with a broken heart over the death of her 20 yr. old son who died last year. You are so right about the wages or penalty of sin. She was definitely a beautiful woman but she did not possess the One thing that it takes to have true peace and joy and that would allow her to spend eternity in Heaven.....JESUS!! It is very sad...but there are many more poor souls in the world that do not possess Jesus either...God help us to do our best to reach them!!!

It's a sad story. The wages of sin is death...that's right. I don't know if she ever had any dreams of a godly husband and family, but I do know she didn't have a good name or a good reputation. Sad!

I've missed all the headlines, but still, this is always sad when someone we have seen trying to achive happyness dies without Jesus.
It ruins a lot of good movies for me too, even if I know the actors really didn't 'die' they still are without Jesus.

I can share more than one story of people dying young due to their "riotous" living. It's a very sad thing to hear of.

I feel so sorry for her little baby, so much fighting going on around her, a legacy of money and yet a legacy of pain too, she needs much much prayer, poor little one.

I remember an old acquaintance asking why I would possibly want to be a Christian when they are all 'dorks', elderly or boring...do you think he was trying to insult me? Lol! And yet the joy of knowing Jesus and His mercies are new every morning it never gets boring; this world never brings true happiness. I think of Valentines Day and how many people will declare their 'undying love' for one another only to be split up and with someone else within a year! And yet the world cannot see this as a contradiction; can't see the lies. It's very sad, and yet a danger we all face if we take our eyes off the goal - Jesus.

Sorry long comment, lol, hugs.

Amen and amen. Her life was totally devoid of any meaning. The poor little innocent baby.

I am also deeply saddened that there are so many men out there who think they can lay "claim" to fathering that poor little baby-and it seems to be just to get at the money. The way of transgressors is indeed hard. Hard, tragic, and it also hurts the innocent!
