Years ago, I bought a cheap(read-ugly) set from Kmart. Of all of the things that were lost in the house fire, those were the least-missed. Two years ago I had the opportunity to buy these and I am so happy!
We eat off Christmas china everyday in December. So far, we've only brocken one salad plate!I know that dishes get broken, but my family is special, and I 'd rather have a few broken dishes, than a cupboard full of unused dishes waiting for something "special".

Aren't they lovely? I bought them at the Kroger that is withing walking distance of your home church. We were parked there at the church for about a week. We walked to the Kroger everyday for food and exercize. I just love these goblets! I only have six left, so I am hoping for a miracle!
I totally agree with you! We ate off our wedding china many days when we were in the States. Family is special every day!
