Faith

Isn't it interesting that the Bible says that the just shall live by faith, and not just be saved by faith? I mean, salvation is by grace through faith, but the faith doesn't end there. To live the Christian life requires daily faith.

Now, I believe that the faith is a gift from God. Am I using that faith? Right now God is requiring a great deal of faith from me. I can assume that He has given me all the faith I need, right now.

All I can say is that now I will have a lot more patience with those I considered "whiners".
I hate whining, and yet I find I've been doing a lot of it lately. I mentioned in a meme I did recently that I wished that I was more compassionate. I guess God took me seriously and decided I needed some fiery trials in order to have more compassion on others. Well, dear God, I am ready. Use me as you see fit. Help me to find a song and laughter even in trials and sorrow. Lord, increse my faith.

Thank you for your prayers, Mrs. Fink!

Sarah, I really enjoyed your post today about accepting God's love. Sometimes its hard to feel the love, sometimes it has to be enough just to know that it is there.

Kristi! God bless you, my friend.

You are so right about us using our faith and living in it. I'm afraid that alot of Christians are not doing that. I know that I haven't always. I can say one thing though...you have asked something that alot of people are afraid to ask and are often told not to ask....

"increase my faith".

We shouldn't be afraid to ask such things of our Lord. He will never do or allow more to come to us than He would want to. We should trust our Savior enough to ask things such as "increase my faith" and "give me patience".

Thank you Sis for this post!! It was a real blessing to me!!
