How do you read the Bible?

Do you read God's Word everyday? Have you ever struggled with faithful reading? Tell me about how your overcame and what and how you are reading now.

Thanks
R

I do read my bible several times a week, but I'll admit not every day. Well, I just go to it when ever something comes to me that I find interesting a lot of the time. For example, Friday my parents were going away for the weekend and my mother put my dad to getting everything ready as she had to work. I went over to help him out with some of the wash and things and there was a documentary (they have cable) on the History channel about the battles of the bible. I had never found battles very interesting before...but while we were watching I felt I wanted to know more. So, when I got home I looked some of it up. A few monthes back I was really into Gensis and Noah. Something will spark my interest and I will study it to death. I like to learn.

Hi, Rhonda-

I still struggle with daily reading. I'll read every morning for a good while and then - wham! -something happens and I start to let it slide. I receive a copy of Today in the Word from Moody and it helps but ...

Hi Rhonda, I've missed not visiting your blog while I've been busy! I struggled with bible reading everyday. But I have updated my schedule (flylady style ;o)) to include time for prayer and bible reading as I was not being disciplined enough and it was being forgotten :o( So now I read in the morning during my devotions and before I go to bed.

I'm reading at the moment Joshua and Acts (and anything else I feel led to). I am also reading everyday with B and L something from their children's bible. Blessings :o)
