Advice for young ladies

My friend Sandra and have decided to start a blog in Spanish for Christian yound ladies. If you have any advice that would transcend cultures, please share. I am looking towards girls like Courtney and Olivia and Crystal before she was married.

Also if you know any missionaries in Spanish speaking countries that might have websites in Spanish, please share. I am looking for something like Momof 9's in Spanish.
Thanks
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda! I was so excited when I found your blog!!! I was doing a search for Independent Baptist something (hhhmm, can't remember now) and came across some other lady's blog who had linked to you. When I saw "Lanco, Chile" I clicked on it, then when I started reading the description, I couldn't believe it was YOU!

Three years ago, I was in Chile visiting the Heinz and Castner families. We went to a youth camp in Puerto Montt, and I stayed at someone's house with you and your sister. I still remember how LOST I would have felt if you two hadn't kinda watched out for me. :)

Anyway, I've enjoyed perusing over some of the things you have written, and just wanted to drop you a howdy!

And the Spanish site for girls is a terrific idea! There is lots of information out there, but I don't know how much of it is in Spanish...guess I've never looked! ;)

Thanks for your sweet comment on my "dearie" post. :)

I think the best one-line advice I could give any single young woman, would be this: Focus on being more than anything else. So many girls are looking, flirting, manipulating, and even "just" waiting. But God wants us to focus on ourselves, and the things we need to changing in our life. The first step to having a good marriage, is being the right kind of person.

Although this is true for young men as well, it is doubly true for young ladies, because they are not to be the ones seeking. They are to be waiting until the young man starts the relationship. So rather than looking over all the available young men, young ladies should be focusing on being better people themselves.

Of course, it's easy to say, and an entirely different matter to live. :)

Rachel, I don't know how you found me other than by Divine intervention! I tried to look for me and didn't find me (on a search engine, of course!)

OK!! Thanks! :)
I don't know if you have read them before, but I have several articles that I have written on my blog concerning courtship, waiting on the ONE God has for you and being a keeper AT home. I have links for these posts on my side bar and you can translate them into Spanish if you think its something you can use.

I don't know of any spanish blogs or websites, but if you ever need anything translated, please let me know. I can probably squeeze something in here and there. LOL Funny, because now that I think of it, my blog post today was how does everyone fit everything in to their day. LOL Naa...I'm sure the Lord will provide the time for something like this that will help young Spanish speaking women/girls.

I want to know your blog site in spanish and I will pass it on here . . anyway advice: One quicky that helped me when single:
We are daughters of a KING, thus princesses. We need to act like princesses, and when a princess is to be married, her Father would betroth her, and at the right time he would bring that man to her. Does a princess flirt then? No, because her Father already has her betrothed, does she need to fret or strive to "get" someone? No, because of her Father. Act royal not "common" for you are already Betrothed!
Mas o menos that's it.

We haven't started it yet, I want to have several posts ready before we actually start! Your insights were great!

Thanks,
